Clara Vegas Goetz crowned as Miss Venezuela Universe 2025

The Miss Venezuela Universe 2025 grand finale took place on Thursday, December 4th, in Caracas, at the Centro Comercial Líder, with national and international broadcast. The glamorous event marked the 72nd edition of the pageant and crowned Venezuela’s representative for the Miss Universe 2026 in Puerto Rico.

The show was hosted by the legendary Maite Delgado, celebrating 20 years of presence in the pageant, alongside José Andrés Padrón, who brought charisma and elegance to the stage.

Since 1997, Maite Delgado has been the leading presenter of Miss Venezuela, establishing herself as the figure who opens the gala every year with her iconic phrase: “Good evening, Venezuela.” In the 2025 edition, Venevisión paid tribute to her 20 years of dedication to the pageant, honoring her as the nation’s number one TV host.

The opening outfit was inspired by Jean Paul Gaultier’s design for Madonna’s MDNA Tour.

The gala began with Maite singing and dancing alongside the Venevisión ballet. She performed the song “Life is a Party”, composed especially to celebrate her career, with lyrics recalling her journey in Venezuelan television. She showcased her versatility and elegance with three wardrobe changes during the opening show.

During the event, Maite delivered an emotional monologue about her experience at Miss Venezuela and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the audience for two decades of support.

Jury Panel

During the grand finale of Miss Venezuela Universe 2025, the jury played a crucial role in ensuring the transparency and credibility of the competition. Composed of former beauty queens, entertainment figures, and media representatives, the panel evaluated the contestants on key aspects such as elegance, stage presence, confidence in their answers, and international projection. Their judgment determined the semifinalists, finalists, and ultimately the winner, guaranteeing that the decision reflected both the tradition of the pageant and the modern standards of a world‑class competition.

The jury members were responsible for asking the questions during the final round.

The jury was composed of renowned figures from the beauty and entertainment industry: Sthefany Gutiérrez (Miss Venezuela 2017), Osmariel Villalobos (Miss Venezuela Earth 2011), Luiseth Materán (Miss Universe Venezuela 2021), Thalía Olvino (Miss Venezuela 2019), Mariana Jiménez (Miss Venezuela 2014), Milagros Zambrano (News Director at Venevisión), Verónica Rodríguez de Guruceaga (President of Centro Gandhi Venezuela).

The Top 12 semifinalists included representatives from Sucre, Delta Amacuro, Barinas, Táchira, Portuguesa, Bolívar, Dependencias Federales, Monagas, Yaracuy, Mérida, Amazonas, and Miranda.

The New Queen and Her Legacy

Clara Vegas Goetz, 23, actress and model, made history as the first daughter of a former Miss Venezuela to win the crown. Her mother, Andreína Goetz, was Miss Venezuela 1990 and a Miss Universe semifinalist. This milestone highlights a powerful family legacy in Venezuelan pageantry.
